Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, or with the breadth of his hand marked off the heavens? Who has held the dust of the earth in a basket, or weighed the mountains on the scales and the hills in a balance? Who has understood the mind of the Lord, or instructed him as his counselor? Whom did the Lord consult to enlighten him, and who taught him the right way? Who was it that taught him knowledge or showed him the path of understanding? Surely the nations are like a drop in a bucket; they are regarded as dust on the scales; he weighs the islands as though they were fine dust. -Isaiah 40:12-15I was reminded yesterday of God's very very awesomeness. Was early at CF and was feeling rather on a low and nervy cause I felt I needed to study, and I couldn't find time to do it. Cause we had only a small group yesterday, Sue Ting got a few of us to share. Very reluctantly, I agreed. Haha. You know I don't like, correction, (absolutely abhor) public speaking. But anyway, I thought, just do it. Was listening to Sue Ting's MP3, and the song was " Our God is an Awesome God" by Hillsong Kids (so cute!!!:) haha). That brought me to this chapter above.
What is man that You are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? -Psalms 8:4And what I realised was that though God is just so so so awesome, great and indescribable, He still cares about the minutest details about us. He could have concerned Himself totally with His great and majestic powers and chose to spin galaxies and do other cool stuff, yet He chooses to hear our softly-spoken whisper. He hears our cry. And He cares. So so much.
He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; He gently leads those that have young. -Isaiah 40:11How mind-blowing.
What I think is my set of problems can never be greater than God's greatness. Though I struggle with the 17 sets of Maths internal papers to finish (no kidding!), lots of self-studying for Chem and Physics that have to be done, (feel breathless already thinking about that, lol), I've got to keep my eyes on Him who is just so plain awesome!:), who will help me through.
Got to go do Maths now...cheerio!:)
