a seremban-ing we would go for yasmin
it feels good to come home, sit at the table. eat apple crumble with vanilla ice-cream and catch up with my mum=) Melawati air is good. Hehe. I'm back!!! Exams just finished yesterday... so glad I don't need to spend anymore afternoons and nights in the CR, for the time being at least. it was ok lah... not that easy, not that hard. God's grace was certainly enough for me, enough for us. Like when I couldn't balance my chemical equation, I prayed and suddenly I knew just how to do it. Many amazing testimonies too from Lynthia, Sue Ting, Chai Lian too. God is good! - Thanks guys for all the encouragement!
This is how a Poland-bound student studies for her AS, trusting fully, that with God, nothing is impossible=)
No more exams! (for a while) The sheer happiness and joy is all over Haziqah's face. Lol, she always look so happy.
And..we went to Seremban! We went after the last paper, and hung out there. We watched Twilight too! I really liked it, though I haven't read the book (i'm going to this holidays), its really really good. Worth it. Seriously.
On the KTM. At Kenny Rogers. (Felicia, Haziqah, Lynthia, Suraya) The Blackies:- Jun Mei, Yasmin and I. we celebrated Yasmin's birthday. =) Suraya and I. At VOIR I think. nice mirror, lol. Jun Mei and I. Another nice mirror. I like the lighting! This is from Jun Mei's phone. Haziqah and I. So syok sendiri la, we all two. Lol. Going to Seremban was a very good destressing activity. Though we didn't have that much time in our hands, and though the going back part was a tad scary, haha, it was great fun.
I kept the best for last.
happy birthday yasmin!!!!

Have a great year ahead, God bless! (see..no horrible pictures of you!=P)Haha. That's all for now.. cheerio! ps. I'll blog about the cf seniors' farewell soon=) stay tuned! (just as Lynthia will say)

psalms 23 - for students:)
The Lord is my Tutor, I shall not worry He maketh me to settle down in strange libraries He leadeth me to reference materials He restoreth my wakefulness in class Yea, tho’ I walk through classrooms and sleepy lectures I will fear no failure, for Thou art with me Thy whispers and Thy encouragements, they comfort me Notes and formulae before me in the imminence of my examination Thou annointest my mind with oil, my preparation runneth over Surely goodness and merciful results shall follow me All the days of my course, and I shall serve in the fellowship Of the Lord in school and forever more.

making taman melawati famous
Meeting people from all over Malaysia, this is a conversation that will always take place, somehow or another. And each time I feel more and more barbarian. Lol. Let me explain. So, where are you from?Um, KL! ( KL rocks!:) )Ohhh..so can go back every week la. Which part?Taman Melawati.Where's that?Um, its the outskirts of KL. Like the border between KL and Selangor.Oh, you mean like Damansara! Somewhere there?... no no... its no where near Damansara, not at all. Have you heard of Bukit Tabuh?Er..no.Its... um... *racks brain* (and i ALWAYS say this) its near Zoo Negara! *genius!* (see what I mean about barbarian!)Ohhhhhh... *knowingly* I see:)Pheww...Why does no one know where Taman Melawati is??:( For the fun of it, I googled 'taman melawati', and this is what I found: Taman Melawati is a self-contained town within the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur. It is administrated by Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya (MPAJ). Many local celebrities and politicians are known to reside here. The International School of Kuala Lumpur (Elementary Campus) and the Malaysian Institute of Art (MIA) are located in this town. There is also a private hospital, Damai Service Hospital, and a clubhouse, Kklub, in this town. Zoo Negara, the national zoo, is located nearby. One of the hills in this town, Bukit Tabur, is a popular hiking spot while the main entrance of the Klang Gates Dam is found in this town.
Maybe I should memorise this and spout it out whenever someone asks me where Taman Melawati is. Lol. But I thought of something better. Aha! Taman Melawati was once where KTT was, long long ago. Seriously. Lol. I wanted to put some pics of beloved ol' melawati but my com hates me:( Oh well. maybe some other time.. Cheerio!:)

(cake+flour+water)(on a birthday)=trouble
It was such a beautiful day. The sun shone brightly, the sky looked its best, everything was just so peaceful, so serene. Who knew what trouble loomed ahead? Was a swordfight an omen of what was going to happen? What on earth happened to the Birthday Girl? Housemates (also the masterminds), classmates, close friends and CF friends of lil' Hui Fen, also fondly known as 'Mummy', ganged up together for something less than innocent. Armed with bottles of water, and two bottles of brownish stuff that had ikan bilis right at the bottom (ewwww), we lurked behind the abandoned shoplots, waiting for The Birthday Girl to appear. Us photographers taking a picture together. (me, Li Yan, Chai Lian, Sarah, and a sesated Joel)-notice how clean we look? Lol. Photographer No1:- Sarah Christine, Daniel The Cake Protector, Li Ying and Jun Mei with the scrumplicious cake. Soon, The Birthday Girl appeared. Everyone attacked and ran after her. (save those with a kind heart, because 'Mummy' is just so nice that it feels so wrong to attack her, even on her birthday) So we turned onto one another. (see the ice-cream man watching and laughing? Haha) The drenched Birthday Girl and me:) Then chaos reigned when flour was introduced. (Joanne looking evil)
Attack! Even Photographer No2:- Li Yan is not spared. Lynthia looking her happiest with flour all over her. Two very grubby looking people:- Joey and Shawn. Jun Mei looking rather mournful after being attacked by Joel. I is with a very old lady:P So Happy Birthday Hui Fen! Hope you enjoyed yourself, God bless!:) That's all for now, Cheerio:)

When my brother came with my parents to visit me at KTT about two months ago, he said that ASEAN scholars are scholars but don't look like scholars. But JPA scholars are scholars and look exactly like scholars. Scholar-looking=nerd.-_- Now, two months later, I'm beginning to think there's some truth in that. Of course, there are exceptions (like me! hahaha:P), well there actually quite a lot of exceptions, but the atmosphere is thick with nerdifying-ness. Lol. Everyone is studying like their exam is a week, or even a day away. The library is always occupied, the classrooms and lecture halls are never ever empty, even at night. Don't have to worry for the sense of urgency to come and grab you to study. Its right there, haunting, luring, oppressing, supressing, depressing. Haha, so drama. Lol. Back about two weeks ago, I was still feeling super lazy, and even when I tried studying I couldn't concentrate. I tied it down to two main reasons: 1) The tempting computer at the library. Haha obsession with how many hits my 'bang bang' counter is not good. Not good at all. 2) Distracting friends. Not to blame them, but the juiciest converations and stories just seem to pop out when you have to study. Lol. Only two solutions I could think of: 1) Send a virus to all the computers, -which I have no idea how. :( 2) Terminate all my friends (muahahaha), -but 'thou shalt not murder', so that's impossible too. Which then leaves me with no solutions. But when you think of the academic report that will be sent to your parents, and the A-s you want to get (A is 90 above!!! :S) , and the super duper hard internal papers, there's bound to be pressure. Thus, the sense of urgency has arrived, but being able to remember and understand all that I study is totally another story. Having said all that, JPA scolars are NOT nerds (save a precious few, hehe), we still have time to jog, eat at the cafe, talk and talk and talk, go out, have other activities, plan birthdays etc etc. Thank God, if not for Him, not for CF, not for church, I'll probably have gone nuts at the pressure long ago. Haha. Thats all for now... Cheero, and take care!:)
