guiltily blissful or blissfully guilty?
I confess, I came home this time eagerly for the much-needed respite from the busy-ness of college life, the stress of studies, and the anticipation of my whole family under one roof again for Christmas and the New Year. (not like I have a very big family, haha). But here's the confession - ahem- I was nerdily planning to do a bit of catching up in my rather slow progress in studies ( when your classmates have neatly handwritten notes of chapters that have like, yet yet yet to come, you a feel, just a little, mind you, just a little kiasu)=P And there's that Organic Chem stuff that looks quite the confusing. But I've found out, that, year-end holidays was never made, nor intended to, nor created for the horrible purpose of studying, like it or not. Its virtually impossible! Lol. The last few days, I had crashed Pn Maimon's house with Feli Leow Chun, mamaked with my old friends, visited my cousins, and went out with my family. And I'm going to PD with my similar DNA and blood relations (ie. my family, lol) today, which is like the second time to PD this month- the home of hawaiian shorts! Lol again. I have resigned to the fact that, yes, its quite the impossible to study this holidays=) And I shall blissfully put the fact that my next exam is in January out of my mind, nevermind the constellation of ten or eleven pimples smack right in the middle of my forehead=( Haha. Should I feel guilty?

the hopes and fears of all the yearsare met in Thee tonight
How poignant the thought, that indeed, through all of time, all our hopes, all our dreams, all our fears, every little or big thing we hold dear finds its answer and is met in God, who fills that God-shaped hole in our hearts, that nothing other than Him will ever, ever satisfy. "For today in the town of David a Savior has been born for you, who is Christ the Lord."-Luke 2:11 Blessed Christmas! =)

Ever since 11th Dec, I've been in such a whirlwind of activity and so, haven't blogged for a while. Got so much to blog about, so many pictures to post up. Below is what I squeezed in=)
1) LSC Church Children's Camp - It was great fun. The children learnt teamwork, and about the Quest, searching and finding God in all that we do. 2) My belated birthday celebration from ALL 11- every month my class will celebrate that month's babies. And I'm the only one in December- so there's this humongous 1.5 kg rich chocolate cake. Haha. - That's me cutting the cake by the way, sorry if you can't see my face that well. Lol. 3) Christmas Night '08 This was CF's Christmas Night, all ablaze in red and green. Cool, eh?
4) Malacca!
- I was invited to parasite Jun Mei and her housemates over the weekend. The Nyonya brought us around, where we ate a lot, walked a lot, and did a bit of birthday/ Christmas shopping. I've been to Malacca lots of times, but this is the first from the eyes of a tourist. Likey! This is the famed satay celup! Its delicioousssss.. *yums* The view from the Malacca jetty. That's the Eye On Malaysia, by the way, now in Malacca.
Malacca and George Town girls feeling proud. Lol.
This is the bestest ice kacang in the world! Served at one of the shops along Jonker's Street
The five of us- Sylvia, me, Christine, Jun Mei, Hui Fen
Along Jonker's Street- this guy's selling what do you call that- ' chau dao guey' ? Radish cake.
Negarakuuuu... we feel patriotic after visiting Historical Malcca. Lol.
On the whole, it was great fun- apart from the malangness on the second day there. -_- so the malu, haha. And I just know Jun Mei will blog about it.
5) My even-more belated birthday clebration at Pizza Hut As tradition would have it, my housemates organised this 'escapade' to Pizza Hut with 6 other people via a rented van=) Lol. I'm touched.
Being blur, I didn't see Jun Mei sneaking out to go to Secret Recipe next door. But I did see her coming in with the not-yet lighted cheese cake and Lynthia hurrying to light it. Lol. Thanks so much, guys!=) And the Nyonya+ housemates also bought me shades from Malacca!
Having your birthday in December means you have a birthmonth, not a birthday. You get birthday wishes all through the month, haha.
Which is reminds me, not to forget the birthday of One most precious of all.
Blessed Christmas Eve.
Cheerio=)
Christmas post coming up?

At the time where everyone leaves camp to return for another blessed two to three weeks of holidays, (such wondrous bliss), I drag my feet back to college for a new semester. LSC's Childrens' Camp was great. And of course, I didn't go as a kid. -_- I went as a Guardian. (Wahhh..)=P So its back to full days of classes, having variations of fried rice for dinner every day, and super oily food for lunch. =( ( Btw I heard that one of the cafes is being kicked out and a real mamak stall is moving in!!) Yay!- I look forward to naans and teh ais... Bliss. And oh, three days a week I'm going to have Moral Studies at 6-7pm!! So the sad. =( But I'll get used to this routine again I guess. Looking forward to Christmas! Can't wait. And.... advertisement here- KTT's CF will have a Christmas Night this Wednesday, so all are welcome!=) It'll be great fun with Christmas carols, gifts etc etc. So come come come!=) That's all now, got to go for Maths. Cheerio=)

i'm technologically-handicapped
I hate technology! Detest, abhor, dislike, and am utterly revolted and disgusted by it!=( There there.. I feel better, haha.) Well I don't really abhor it, technology admittedly is quite cool, but I'm sadly irrevocably and irreversibly and terribly bad at it. Gah. If only I had the skills of a computer wizard. *wishful thinking* . Lol. It took me some time to figure out how to put this video on my blog. Well, I didn't really figure it out, 'cause my multitalented roommate Lynthia showed me the way. Hehe=) This is a really really cool video from Godtube, a Christian version of Youtube. Its really awesome, especially if you like um- art and/or Stephen Curtis Chapman.=) Enjoy!

I turned 18 today, but a few didn't get to celebrate another birthday again. There was a landslide at Bukit Antarabangsa early this morning, and so far, 3 people have been killed. =( I was like super blur, because I didn't read the paper, so when I heard of it, I immediately thought of Suraya and Rachel. Thank God both of them are safe=) Never felt better hearing that slightly amused-slightly Malay slang voice of Suraya. Haha:P Just last night I was chatting with her:- (after 12) s.u.r.a.y.a says: herherherher
s.u.r.a.y.a says: nway, happy sweet 18

s.u.r.a.y.a says: goodnight dear!
s.u.r.a.y.a says: *so motherlike*
Ahaha. What a funny coversation from someone trying to brag about being more mature and wiser and all that, as though shes been 18 for a long long time. Made me laugh. Yesterday I went out with Feli, Leow, Sha, Alicia and Rachel to KlCC. Lol. Nice Christmas tree ya? Too bad there wasn't any Christmas carols=( Sha, Alicia and I were early, And HUNGRY. Well I was anyway. Hehe. So we tapau-ed MCD (Sha~vegetarian rice:P), and since there wasn't a spot we could sit in the human-infested Food Junction, we took a walk to the park outside and had our lunch there! So many lovey-dovey couples and emo emo singles staring at the fountains. Haha.
Alicia and Sha decked out for Christmas. Lol. Alicia, and Sha, both eating Then we met up with Feli, Leow, Rachel inside the packed-squeezed-crowded KLCC. We went to the ring shop- Bausch K. - got my FJLS ring ( Feli, Joanna, Leow, Sha) from Feli, Leow and Sha. Thanks guys!=) At the ring shop Then they berpura-pura want to eat sundae at McD there. Haha, Feli disappeared to 'go toilet'. then Sha and Leow both disappeared too. When all three disappear together, well I'm not that blur. Hehe. It happened last year, and of course I had Lynthia's botched surprise and Yasmin's more-successful surprise as reminder. Ahaha. Anyway I continued talking to Rachel and Alicia, laughing our heads off at Rachel's usual antics.
My stylo manga-looking friend Rachel! (she'll kill me if she sees this, but then I don't think she reads my blog) Lol. Then they returned! With a Big Mac and a candle on top! ( Creative right? haha, knowing I love Big macs=) )
Big Mac, Alicia Big Mac, me. Lol. And can you believe it, I watched Twilight again. Haha. Now Sha is in love with the movie too. *bangga*- Then we baliked lo. Thanks all, for the outing=)
Alicia~ presenting Twilight! (Edward's forehead looks wierd)
And.. thanks for all the smses- suetingsyazwanjunmeisheauhuoydairshininorayasminsueanndaryljayrick parvinaselvanleechinevelynfarhanalynthiamichellesyiaoweileowuncledanielfelicia (can find your name there?) Haha. And for the online wishes from surayasarahchun( I don't believe he remembered!-_-) And for Kor for sending the lovely card all the way from Kedah (I know I have a present waiting from him ahaha=P), and for calling from Kedah. And Sharlyne- also calling all the way from Kedah. And Sha-all the way from Danau Kota!=P and my sifu-Elise calling from d'na camp! Sorry if I missed out anyone. Cause technically, my birthday is not over yet. Being 18 feels the same like being 17 though. Lol.
Thats all, cheerio=)

Today I was wondering why '3rd of December' seemed so vaguely familiar. Then I remembered.
Exactly one year ago I finished the last paper~Bible Knowledge of SPM and walked out of secondary school. (joy!=P) It just seemed like a brief moment ago.
One year has passed and this year has been one whole rollercoaster of a ride. It was the wildest year ever, nothing was normal, nothing ordinary.
With Pn Maimon during Hari Anugerah~ best BM teacher=) SMKTM people- I didn't know I was sitting next to Suraya-she seems to be shoving her trophy up my face-_-
SJ9b- at TARC
An extremely blur picture of ALL 11- official class pic not out yet, sadly=(
I discovered... 1) That God does make my wildest hopes and dreams come true (to get JPA to study medicine) 2) That friends are precious, when friendships fade, it hurts. 3) That I can never trust my feelings. 4) That there are benefits of going to a tiny college in an ulu place=) 5) That God is present no matter where we are. 6) That God can use hurt and broken people mightily for His Kingdom~there is no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus. 7) That its fun living in a muhibbah home!=) 8) That a body of Christ is important 9) That I can count on my family to always support, comfort, laugh or cry with me. 10) Lastly, that God is so infinitely concerned in the wellbeing of small insignificant me. Call it a jiwang post if you like, I don't care=). My fingers fly as I type this post out. Inspiration? Maybe. I have decided that I have but one Reader. Many times this year I've felt like I'm walking a tightrope, that what I do, or don't do brings a lot of consequences. and I guess life is like that. But we've got to keep our eyes on Jesus, knowing that the harder we lean on to God, the stronger we will find Him to be. (~Joni Earekson Tada, as quoted to me by Alicia). " Cool is too small a word, to cheap to describe true greatness. And its what millions of young people live for. Who confronts them with urgency and tears? Who plead with them not to waste their lives? Who takes them by the collar, and loves them enough to show them a life so radical and so real and so costly and Christ-saturated that they will feel the emptiness of their CD collection and their pointless conversations of passing celebrities? Who will waken what lies latent in their souls? A longing not to waste their lives?Oh, that young and old would turn off the TV, take a long walk, and dream of feats of courage for a cause ten thousand times more important than American democracy. If we would dream and we would pray, would not God answer? Would He withhold from us a life of joyful love and mercy and sacrifice that magnifies Christ and make people glad in God? I plead with you, as for myself, set your face like flint to join Jesus on the Calvary road. Let us go to Him outside of the camp and bear the reproach he endured. For here we have a lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come. (Heb13:13-14) When they see our sacrificial love-radiant with joy-will they not say, "Christ is great?"Give your lives to science and research, as well as medical missions, to wage war against disease and suffering and display the beauty and power of Christ. ~'Don't Waste Your Life' by John Piper Cheerio=) ps. I caught up with my old friend Sarah today and we realised we forgot how to do our Kunci Kira-kira and Penyata Pendapatan. Lol.

Ishhh.. my Razr seems to be getting blurrer and blurrer..don't know why=(
The first senior I met in KTT. One of the most encouraging person I've met. Really really. -I and Sharlyne. ( is 'person' correct grammar? sounds wrong..but 'people' is wierd too, lol) Seniors are very encouraging people. Stuck on Li Yan's door.=) So, we had a farewell for our seniors last last Friday. After AS and A2, before our Final Sem. We even celebrated Bro Chris' birthday.. surprise!=) Andrew praying with us after his song for the last time. We're all going to miss him-great CF president! After the farewell-we took lots and lots of pictures.- The girls and Andrew. Poland, India, Czech. Haha. One big family in Christ- (stolen from Jun Mei)- with Uncle Chan and Aunty Elizabeth too. And now.. some other random pics collected from CF, student house and from Nilai Baptist.=) Sarah and Little Naomi during Bible Studay at the student house. Parvina, Lydia and Sue Ting
Little Thaddeus reciting Psalms 121 (so cute!!!=) )
The girls at Nilai Baptist. Joel and Josiah
Somebody feels left out at the student house. Awww...

Poison Ball-Dangerous but fun.
That's all.. going to miss the seniors, especially Sharlyne. All the best people, we'll keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Take care!=) Bon voyage! Who shall seperate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: " For Your sake we are killed all day long, we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter." Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor pricipalities nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to seperate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. =) -Romans 8:35-39 Cheerio=)
