Sunday- Went back to college and found that there was a water cut. Yet AGAIN. Like my mei mei wrote, the Syabas people pretty much deceived us as to when the water would come back, form 4pm to 8pm to 12am and finally the next next morning. So we had to lug up pails of water again three storeys. Haha, pleased to report we are all buffed up and muscular now=P

Monday- since there still wasn't any water and all of us felt really dirty (at least I knew I did quite stink), we did something rather extraordinary. We teman-ed my mei mei to KLIA to send her bf off. Let me digress a little here. Saw some blazer-clad JPA people flying off and all their families at the railing waving them off. Rather mixed reactions all these people have, I must say. After they faded from view, some families just walked off nonchalantly sipping their Pepsi as though they said a normal bye, like 'bye- you're- going- out' kind of thing. Lol. One mum was weeping uncontrollably on her husband's shoulder. I can totally see my mum doing that. =S Partings will always be hard, I guess. Back to the story, we took a shower at KLIA, of all places. Lol. Desperation calls for desperate measures.

Tuesday water came back!=)

Wednesday, the Consul General of India gave us a surprise ring to tell us that we were the few lucky KTT students chosen for a three days two nights short trip to the land of India, like a pre-pre orientation kind of thing to check the place out, provide them feedback and all. We were like... WOW!

So no delays, we flew off that very night, passports, bantal busuks and all. How.. extraordinary.

We did manage to get a few Punjabi suits before we met with His Honour, the Consul General, on Friday=)

Also, we had a very warm greeting from the locals, and we were quite shocked that one of the places we went to was like a Mini-Malaysia, called Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi.=) So we did feel pretty much at home, yeah.

I think we all scrubbed up pretty well to impress the locals, how India-friendly we were.


We were also entertained with a Bollywood dance by some of the local students.

Nahhh just kidding. We went for Ponggal Charity Night, and Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi is at Nilai. (I think) =P Haha.

This has got to be the most exhausting week of 2009 by far. The week started off with a lot of different questions, doubts and stupid regrets clouding my mind, and with the CNY Nite coming up, wow... full plate.

When I first knew that I was going to be one of the four formal emcees for CNY Nite' 09, I was like...

"You've gotta be kidding me!!!???!!!!!!!"

Craziness in full force. Like, me with the chronic stage frights and abhorrence of public speaking. You've gotta be kidding.

Really really wanted to pull out and decline but I would have to find a replacement, which would be very hard since almost everyone was tied to something or another. And I knew like if I didn't take this opportunity now, it may not come again. Its like a good chance to overcome stupid phobias. Lol.

So I took it. ( a little begrudgingly, I'm afraid)

But it proved to be an enjoyable experience, though the build up to it was rather tiring. Every night spent in the LH from 8 to 9 for choir, then CF or emcee meetings to draft out the script and all till 12 or 12++ Still, the atmosphere in the DU during the nights was very Chinese New Year-ish with the songs playing and everyone practicing some thing or another, and all the decorations going up. =)

Got to really really thank Suraya and Nadia for being my personal make-up artists. For their patience in trying to make up the very-hard-to-make-up single eyelid sepeted eyes of mine hahaha, for their toner, eyeshadow, eyeliner etc etc. And to Lynthia who came all the way back to our apartment to get the basket for the Chai Shen, thus missing the live band's Bon Jovi 'Its My Life' so sorry Lynthia! And Yasmin, for all her 'you can do its' and earrings. =) Not forgetting Li Yan-who ran around everywhere taking pictures with my camera all together 263 pics!

So overall, although I know I did mess up a few parts=s, it proved a worth-while experience I guess. I wouldn't have at least the experience of it all if I didn't take it. So, yups=)

is going to blog facebook~style! head's bursting like a hammer slamming into it at equal time intervals. feels dizzy but is blogging all the same. needs a little courage. went to Petaling Street on Monday night with KTT CNY people and bought a cheongsam there!0.o thinks that all Felicias are mysteriously connected to choir because her friends Felicia Yoon and Felicia Tee are/were choir leaders. tried her hand in Chinese calligraphy(ta kai) for the first time in 6 years! agrees with Alicia's post that Facebook can be quite stalker-ish. is grateful that Facebook helped her find her old primary school mates, though=) is wondering whether Passion World Tour will come back to Malaysia this year. learnt how to fold a fish with an angpow wrapper! got back her Mid-Sem results this week-not very happy about it. has to step out of her comfort zone shortly=S started A2 syllabus but feels quite blur about it. has a lot of Miscellaneous exercises to catch up on for Mechanics. is going to miss 3 nights of choir practice for CNY Nite' cause she's back home=P wishes friendships are less knottily complicated. likes simplicity. spent three torturous hours to come back home today!is proud that Suraya and her bonding-friends got no.2 for their Nasyid competition wei! watched a madman rant in Tamil for 30 minutes and yell racist remarks while the KTM was delayed for 40 minutes. is not as naive as she was.is missing her new guitar because its left in college for the weekend. is realising time is flying so fast and everyone seems to be flying off soon. is wrapping up her post. now.

I do realise that this is quite a colourful post.
