Wednesday was our CF’s committee election for 2009/2010. It was WOW!

We’re all amazed at how God’s faithfulness has sustained us so far, His grace and strength through all the highs and lows the past year. He answered our prayers- and gave us a bunch of enthusiastic, rocking, fun and loving juniors!

Forgive me if I sound a lil' excited in this post.. because I haven't been on the Internet for like a whole WEEK! Actually I think it was two days ago but it seems ages and ages ago 'cause of the bad connection and too-few-computers in the super big-ok lah not so big library that had me stalking it like a True Accomplished Stalker. =D

Ha.

Anyway a few things had been whirling around my mind that my fingers were just itching to get it onto written form-

1. Tuesday I had just came home from sending off one of my goodest buddies to US (Alicia hope you are doing fine!!!=) and I was feeling a weirdest mix of emotions. As I sat there trying to hmm.. try to put into words what I felt - I mean I was sad to see her go off to such a faraway land- yet happy she got this great great chance to do something she likes at somewhere so cool. And I just realised that come October, almost all of my Melawati friends would be gone-to all parts of the world (kind of)-And as I tried putting it into words (I was speaking what I was thinking)- that "is it possible that we can feel just about every single emotion at the exact same time? Be happy and sad, and all other emotions you just don't know what word can just sum it all up! But you just feel it!"

And at that moment- the girl sitting on my right- this oh-so-very-down-to-earth housemate of mine interjected with a-"Uhh.. I believe the word for that is 'overwhelmed'?" Pffft... I deflated and fell back to earth again. Haha. It was a very funny episode, that was.

2. I mentioned this to God many times, and to quite a few people after AS that if I got an A for Chemistry, it would really really really be a miracle. Because I really did mess up very badly.

And you know what? I serve a God of miracles. He is Jehovah Jireh, my Provider, because the miracle did happen. I was amazed and grateful, and even now I still feel I deserve a B.

To God be the glory=)

3.This morning I went to KLIA again for the second time in a week. Suraya pulled me along to see off the Universiti Gadjah Mada students bound to Indonesia. We left at 5.45 am on the KTT bus quite a few people came actually. Its quite funny that I'm kind of like an official boyfriend-send off=P I mean like, I have been with two of my friends to send off their bfs and both times the bfs told me to take care of their gfs. I should just hang a sign around my neck saying-"need a substitute boyfriend?-find me!" Haha. Freaky.

Got to go soon. Mr Faraday calls.

The ‘Carlsberg’ almost got swapped for ‘Chang Beer’ did you know when Thai tycoons wanted to buy the club haha. And most recently I heard, maybe Standard Chartered next season. Lol.

But maybe then, they will be allowed to come to Malaysia =)=)=) or maybe India hahaha next year.

So 30th July was Suraya’s bithday. Last year’s itenanary  was of ignoring her and tapau-ing KFC back for dinner. (Thinking of which, sounds rather sad lol but it was good fun). This year, we brought it a notch higher, since well, hmm…lets just say, some things have changed in this oh-so-short year. Ahem ahem. =P

I was given the task of collaborating with Suraya’s bf. Lets’s call him Fly. Somehow Fly and I managed to overcome our language barrier (why la my BM so poor=S) and plotted for her birthday.

At midnight was the first surprise.

Introducing.. Ms Ling Jun Mei, my musical genius friend. She entertained us with her superb guitar playing skills!

Right here let me make an announcement LOL. if you ever want to plan a birthday surprise or something like that don’t ask me to plan- don’t tell me about it -don’t let me know!!!! *tears hair* My heart seriously stopped in the library when i sent the wrong message to Suraya instead of Yasmin. Haha I messed it up AGAIN but thankfully she didn’t suspect anything. =D I think I made Yasmin’s heart stop too =P

While waiting for Fly to bring the birthday girl to Secret Recipe we bought this durian cheese cake.

It was kind of plain-looking so Jun Mei suggested we decorate it ourselves.

And then we got a miss call from Fly so we lighted the cake and buat-tak-tau=P

Presents! This is the bear from Fly to Suraya, whom I call Lil’ Buu. Super cute!!! I hope it wasn’t traumatised though after hahaha…
